Cardinal Automation Partners is a small consulting firm based in Raleigh, NC. We build AI systems that eliminate costly manual processing steps from workflows across insurance, healthcare, financial services, legal, and operations.

In most document-heavy workflows, the first step is the same: someone reads something and types it into a system. That step happens before any value-producing work can begin. It's pure transcription overhead.
Modern AI is very good at reading documents and extracting structured data — better than humans on consistency, faster on speed, and capable of handling formats that break traditional parsers. We apply that capability directly to the intake step.
We don't remove humans from the process. We move them to a higher-value position in it: verifying extracted data instead of typing it. The outcome is the same quality, in a fraction of the time, with a complete audit trail.
We've seen this same pattern in title insurance, in claims intake, in loan processing, in prior authorization, in contract review. The industry changes. The bottleneck doesn't.
